This is probably my oldest picture that I still like, this old dead tree in Glen Falloch near Crianlarich. It’s isolated, barren, standing completely alone… its entire life behind it and bits of its former self rotting on the ground beside it. Yet still it stands defiantly resembling a two finger salute to passers by.

I probably spent an hour capturing it from all angles. The background is Sron Gharbh disappearing into the cloud canopy.
